Have you wanted to learn how to waterbath can but don't know where to start? Join us for this canning workshop where we will be canning candied jalapenos and a seasonal fruit jam to learn the waterbath canning method. Once you've learnt how to can one recipe, the skills are transferable to all jams, jellies, syrups, relish, salsa, pickles, etc.

You will be able to take home a small jar of each item. Please bring an apron if you have one.

10am-1pm, Saturday, August 11 at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, 635 4th St. SE. Please use the back entrance.

Cost is $10/person payable by cash or cheque. There is a limit of 10 people for this workshop. Please register at Community Health Services - 2948 Dunmore Road SE. Their hours are:
