Working in partnership with the Community Assistance Network (CAN), the Community Food Connections Association (CFCA) is hosting the Medicine Hat Hunger Count 2016.

This invitation goes out to all organizations that provide food supports within the community.

CFCA and CAN are researching the numbers of individuals/families served, dollar amounts spent/given, food amounts and in what capacity (crisis, ongoing support, capacity building, etc.); as well as any referrals and collaborations that are currently in place to determine how we can work better together in the future.

The information from this meeting will be used to establish a base line for the type of services being provided within our community and what organizations can do to move individuals/families from being food insecure to food secure. Allinformation will be shared with all the participants as well as the CAN Network.

10am – 12pm Tuesday, May 24, 2016 - Provincial Building Room 1AB

Please RSVP if you are able to attend the event.
